With the rise of antibodies and antibody fragments on the biopharmaceutical market, fast, robust and specific analytical methods are more in demand than ever. We have the vision to use the highly specific interaction of Protein L for the detection of mAbs and Fabs in USP and DSP. Based on different immobilization techniques, the developed sensors could be used in bioprocesses as on-line or at-line monitoring tools. Based on these Protein L sensors we want to create a sensor platform where the binding partner can easily be exchanged for a variety of application.
